Our Mission and Beliefs
At Taunton Church of God, we are dedicated to honoring God, uplifting others, and making a meaningful impact on our community. Our church stands on the timeless truth of the Bible, which we believe to be the inspired Word of God. Our Declaration of Faith includes core beliefs such as the divinity of Jesus Christ, the necessity of repentance, the power of the Holy Ghost, and the promise of eternal life.
We believe in the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and we hold fast to the teachings of Jesus Christ, who showed us the way of patience, love, and compassion. Our faith is built on these principles, guiding us through life’s many tests and inspiring us to serve others.
Our Leadership
Our church is led by Pastor Marc Simon, whose passion for the Word of God and dedication to the community are evident in all that he does. Pastor Simon is supported by Assistant Pastor Jean Pierre-Louis, who brings a heart for ministry and a love for God’s people. Together, they shepherd our congregation with wisdom, care, and a deep commitment to spiritual growth.
Our Ministries
We offer a variety of ministries designed to meet the needs of our congregation and community:
- Men’s Ministry: Led by Schiller Garçon, this ministry focuses on strengthening the spiritual lives of men, encouraging them to live out their faith boldly.
- Women’s Ministry: A place for women to grow in their faith, support one another, and serve the community.
- Children’s Ministry: Teaching the next generation about God’s love and truth in a fun and engaging environment.
- Music Department: Leading the congregation in worship through song and praise.
- Prayer Ministry: Join us every Friday for fasting and prayer from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM as we seek God’s guidance and blessings.
